The Sternfels Prize for Drug Safety Discoveries
Started in 2017, The Sternfels Prize recognizes innovative research to reduce the risk associated with real-world use of pharmaceuticals. The prize incentivizes pharmacologists, pharmacists, medical practitioners, academics, and students to think about ways to prevent Serious Adverse Events patients experience due to polypharmacy, interacting comorbidities, and genetic variations.
The prize is awarded annually to the most novel, important, and testable idea. Over the years, it has been adjudicated by a who’s-who of research and regulatory luminaries, who have been able to provide applicants with career-altering feedback and insights.
